Enshrouded Patch 1.0.1.0 Fixes Boss Fights, Loot Drops and UI Bugs

Enshrouded got its first post-launch patch today, 2 November 2026. Patch #1, labeled version 1.0.1.0, is a long list of fixes rather than new content, touching combat, loot, UI and a handful of crafting recipes. If you played early access, a lot of this will read like cleanup of things that had been bugging people for a while.

Boss and enemy combat

Bosses now stay engaged in a fight longer after taking damage, even if a player runs far away. This should stop situations like the one with the Fell Monstrosity, where the boss would start healing mid-fight even while it was still getting shot at.

Targeting got attention too. Totem spells and summons can now lock onto the Wispwyvern and its undead version correctly, and it’s harder to accidentally shoot a Fell mini critter instead of the enemy standing behind it since its hit collider got smaller. The Dragon Youngling no longer gets stuck in a broken dead state that blocked loot, and the Ancient S.P.D.R. Constructs can’t be lured into a spot anymore where they just forget how to move or attack. The shielded Ancient Construct now has shield cooldown phases, and the Fell Vinebloom’s poison area attack does less damage. Boss music cutting out mid-fight is also fixed.

Loot, XP and crafting changes

Fell enemies dropping nothing happens less often now, though the developer says a further fix for this is planned for the next update. Elite flying critters give more XP on death. A few crafting recipes got loosened up: crab cakes take any milk type, the goo recipe also unlocks from picking up Shroud mushroom at Revelwoods, and big farm animal beds can be made from any wood type. Two more craftable versions of lore weapons were added as well.

UI, sound and smaller fixes

There’s a batch of interface fixes here: inventory “is new” markers that wouldn’t clear, a layout bug in the adventure sharing search window, a missing tab in the controller button popup, and scrollbars that didn’t follow list selection correctly. Sprint can now be toggled instead of held in keyboard and mouse settings. Survivor voice lines got volume and mixing work, with more surround sound fixes planned for the next patch. Wand attack costs got rebalanced across a few abilities, and animation-cancelling wand shots to boost attack speed no longer works.

What this means if you run mods

Nothing in this patch is about mod support directly, but it changes combat timing, UI layout, crafting recipes and item data across the board. Any mod that touches enemy behavior, UI panels, perk descriptions or crafting recipes is a reasonable candidate to break or behave oddly after an update like this. Back up your save and mod folder before updating, and hold off loading a modded world until you’ve checked whether the mods you use have been updated to match 1.0.1.0.
