New this week: the Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator mods that arrived on ModsDrop
468 files arrived on ModsDrop in the seven days to 24 October 2026, and for the first time a large share of them were not BeamNG.drive mods. A batch of Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator files landed this week, most of them from uploader WestonFly, and most of them in the categories that make the biggest difference to a trucking game: AI traffic, trailers and cargo, and interiors. Here are the ones worth knowing about, with the sizes, so you can plan the downloads.
Traffic packs
Traffic mods are the single largest quality-of-life change you can make in ETS2 or ATS, and the single largest performance cost, so pick by what your machine can take.
AI Traffic Pack – 526 Standalone Cars with Real 3D Logos

The big one: 526 car models for the roads, each with a real 3D badge rather than a flat texture. Expect a visible frame cost in cities; the result is traffic that looks like the actual European or American car park.
Truck Traffic Pack – Over 140 AI Trucks and BDF Combos

More than 140 trucks for the AI, including BDF truck-and-trailer combinations, which the stock traffic barely has.
Sport Cars Traffic Pack – 261 Sports and Super Cars in Traffic

261 sports and supercars mixed into the traffic. Unrealistic on the A2 at six in the morning, entertaining everywhere else.
Tuned Truck Traffic Pack – About 70 Customised AI Trucks

About seventy customised trucks in the oncoming lane, for people who like a Scania with lights on every surface to come the other way.
Two small companions: the Bus Traffic Pack (13 MB) and the BigBus Traffic Pack (19 MB) add AI buses with real company skins. And three tiny filter mods, No Default SCS Cars, No Default SCS Trucks and No Default SCS Buses, each well under a megabyte, remove the stock traffic so only the modded vehicles appear. 53 heavy-haul trailers for the people who think the stock special transport is too easy.
Two lite container packs round this out: the D-Tec Flexi Trailer Collection (32 MB) and the Hammar Boxloader Trailers (118 MB), a side-loader pack.
Trucks and interiors
Scania Next Generation R580 FH Trans – Lite Truck Version

Scania S/R Next Generation Interior – Full Cabin with Own Slots

A full interior with its own accessory slots. Interior mods are the kind the Improved Material System affects, so read its game-version note before pairing it with the 1.62 beta.
Also in: the Scania P & G Next Generation dealer trucks with custom cabs (123 MB), the Ford LTL 9000 classic American truck in a lite version (258 MB) for ATS, Expanded FH Customisation with more tuning parts for the Volvo FH, the MAN TGX 2020 Improved Dashboard with extra gauges (2 MB), and Better Flares (165 MB), which replaces headlight beams and traffic lights with more realistic ones.
Before you install any of them
- Check the game version on each file’s page. All of these were uploaded this week, so most carry 1.61 or 1.62 notes, but the beta is three days old.
- Traffic packs go below any “no default” filter and above sounds and skins. The install and load-order guide has the full order.
- Every file was scanned on VirusTotal before publication; the scan line on each page shows the count of engines that checked it.
Download counts for this batch are still in single and double digits because the files are days old; next week’s chart will show whether the truckers have found them.
