Forza Horizon 6 Series 7 Update Brings New Routes, Cars and Fixes

Forza Horizon 6 moved to Steam build 1.479.874.0 on November 2, 2026, with the Series 7 update. It brings two new permanent race routes, fresh cars, a limited time event and a long list of fixes, some of which touch how points and leaderboards work.
The patch adds two permanent routes you can race right away: the Edo Circuit Road Race and the Shuto Charge Street Race. New engine swaps are in too, listed at the bottom of the official patch notes. On the creative side, the update ships an IKEA Prop Pack with 35 new props, from YXSTABY controller displays to LACK tables and KALLAX shelving units, for anyone building scenes or hangouts.
New cars and the City Life event
Starting November 5, ten cars join the Festival Playlist as rewards, covering the Series, Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring tiers, from the 2016 Honda S660 Alpha to the 1974 Toyota Corolla SR5. Car Pass, Deluxe, Premium and Premium Upgrade owners also get four extra cars rolled out weekly: the Ford Mustang GTD on November 5, the Volkswagen Electric Buzz on November 12, the Nissan 240RS on November 19 and the Porsche Macan GTS on November 26.
Alongside this, a “City Life” limited time series runs from November 5 to December 3. It adds a Gashapon Machine collectible, brings back the Edamame Time Attack Circuit, and includes a Master Chief outfit, a player badge, three new car horns and one emote.
Bug fixes and balance changes
Series 7 resets every PR Stunt leaderboard. The team said this is because of exploits used to post illegitimate scores: “we want to wipe the slate clean as a result to provide players with a fairer experience going forward.” The amount of Festival Playlist points needed to unlock new cars has also been lowered, a change made “based on community feedback,” aimed at players without access to the game’s online content.
The patch also fixes the Map Discovered percentage not hitting 100%, several car-specific visual bugs (shadows, stickers, badge placement, livery mapping, a dashboard typo), and a performance issue on the 2019 Ginetta G40 Junior that had been outperforming cars in its PI class since Series 5. Solo Seasonal Championships now respect your chosen difficulty, Co-op Seasonal Championship difficulty has gone up, and players who missed points during past Daily and Weekly Challenges in Series 5 and 6 get them awarded retroactively.
What this means for mods
The IKEA props and new engine swaps are official additions, not community mods, so nothing there needs any third-party tool to use. If you run any unofficial mods, trainers or save editors alongside Forza Horizon 6, a build change like this one is the kind of update that can break compatibility until the mod author checks it against 1.479.874.0. It’s a good moment to back up your save and hold off updating any third-party tool until you’ve confirmed it still works with the new build.
