Forza Horizon 5 has a new Festival Playlist live, and the headline reward is the 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 RS. You need 20 PTS to unlock it, and the clock runs out on November 12, so this one has a hard deadline attached.

What the GT3 RS Brings to the Garage

This 911 variant pushes the usual Porsche formula further. It runs a 4-liter six-cylinder engine good for 518 bhp and 342 lb-ft of torque, and it gets to 60 mph in close to 3 seconds. The team behind it pulled design ideas straight from F1, which shows up in the 88 lbs of downforce, the reworked aero on the body kit, and an adjustable rear wing. Every part of the car leans on lightweight materials, front to back, built with track days in mind rather than street cruising.

Rest of the Playlist Rewards

The GT3 RS isn’t the only car on offer this cycle. Here’s what else is tied to Festival Playlist points right now:

On top of that, there are seasonal championships running in parallel, covering German, Japanese, Italian, and UK modern supercars and sports cars, an Extreme Track Toys series, a Hot Wheels Seasonal Championship, and a Rally Adventure Seasonal Championship with a Tierras Verdes Drift Zone event. There’s also a photo challenge asking players to snap any German car parked on a Horizon “H” decal at the Stadium Oval Track, and a reward for clearing all seven Challenge Cards.

Forza Meets Halo

This playlist also folds in a Halo crossover. Racing through the Forza: Warthog Rally event in the M12S Warthog CST unlocks the Halo Theme Part 2 Car Horn. If you want the full atmosphere while you drive, Horizon XS is playing the Halo Theme Gungnir Mix featuring Steve Vai, and Radio Eterna has added Installation 04 and The Trials, both pulled from the Halo soundtrack.

What This Means for Mod Users

Any time Forza Horizon 5 drops a content update like this, it’s a good moment to check whether your installed mods still line up with the new game files before you load back in. Vehicle mods, texture replacements, and UI tweaks can sometimes stop behaving correctly after the base game shifts underneath them, so backing up your current setup first is a sensible habit. If something looks off after updating, waiting a bit for mod authors to confirm compatibility is usually the safer route than troubleshooting blind.
