ARC Raiders Update 2.3.0 went live on October 27, 2026. You need to restart the game client to pull it down. The patch brings the Noxious Set, a new player project called Souls Offering, and a long list of fixes across combat, items, audio and the maps.

Souls Offering: a new player project

The update introduces a story beat tied to the four contradas of Toledo. Celeste, a figure from Speranza, is asking players to pause and remember Raiders who fell on runs, specifically referencing losses from Pendola Pass. Each offering made in her honor is unique, and anyone who takes part shares in it.

Gear and loot changes

The Heavy Shield’s base charge value goes from 80 to 90. The developers explained the reasoning directly: “The usage rates for this shield are still relatively low, so we’re giving it another little bump.” Flame Spray damage rises to 13 per second from 10, with durability drain cut in half. The Firefly Burner now ignites on impact when thrown, leaving a trail of fire and exploding after roughly three seconds, instead of needing to be shot first. Adrenaline Shot can now be used even at max stamina, though it no longer stacks, it just refreshes its duration.

On the loot side, blueprints for Dolabra, Bobcat, Equalizer, Jupiter, Tempest and Vulcano can now drop in any major map condition, with their drop chance trimmed slightly to balance the wider availability. The Emperor Key blueprint drops less often from Redirection pods, but those pods now have a small chance to give ARC parts and high-tier ARC loot instead. Furniture Design drop rates were inverted before this patch; rarer designs were dropping too often, and that’s now fixed.

Fixes across combat, maps and tools

The Emperor’s loot layout changed too: containers near the entrance now hold lower-tier rewards while the good stuff sits deeper inside. Several Grappling Hook issues got cleaned up, including launches that sent players flying at extreme speed, failures to reattach when a target broke apart, and an animation that could get stuck after switching items mid-throw. Zipline entry from the ground now lifts the character properly instead of leaving attachments behaving oddly. The Frigate puzzle gets new visual hatches to track progress, plus clearer audio cues for its power core states. Two new camera filters, Color Push and Black and White, were added to the advanced camera, and the Basic Camera’s depth of field was reduced for clearer selfies.

What this means for players

Since Frozen Trail, the team had been shipping fixes weekly. Starting after this update, fixes go back to a three-week cadence while store updates stay weekly. If you’re jumping back in, expect the restart prompt to grab the new build, and keep in mind some of your go-to gear, especially the Heavy Shield and Flame Spray, now handles a bit differently than before.
