AION 2 Opens First Daeva Pass: Prelude to Flight Season

AION 2 kicked off its first Daeva Pass on October 28, 2026. It is called Prelude to Flight and runs until the scheduled maintenance on December 1 (PST) or December 2 (CET), depending on your region. If you play on NA servers the window is October 28 at 12:00 AM PDT to December 2 at 12:00 AM PST. On EU servers it is October 28 at 08:00 CET to December 2 at 09:00 CET.

The pass has two tracks. The Basic track hands out rewards just for completing missions during the event. The Premium track adds a one-time bonus of 20 Battle Enhance Scrolls (Bound) on top of that.

How leveling works

You gain Pass EXP by playing normally. Clearing an Expedition or Transcendence, successfully enhancing gear, extracting gear, or soul binding gear all count, and there is a cap of 15,000 EXP per character per week. The pass goes up to level 50, and once you hit that cap any extra EXP still lets you level further for repeatable rewards. If you want to skip ahead, you can buy pass levels directly for 50 Quna each.

Rewards along the way include Small Odyle Energy, Unknown Fissure Challenge Tickets, Battle Enhance Scrolls, Resurrection Spiritstones, and Nightmare Dungeon Challenge Tickets, all bound to your character.

Daeva Pass Shop Coin

Premium pass owners also earn Daeva Pass Shop Coin: Season 1, which can be spent in a dedicated shop. The current list includes several Shugo-themed weapon and armor skins, among them Cozy Forest Shugo skins for greatsword, longsword, dagger, bow, spellbook, orb, mace, and staff, plus Shaggy Shugo Friend, Floofy Shugo Friend, Mischievous Shugo, Urd’s Squirrel, and Warm Sunlight Shugo cosmetic pieces. The developer notes this exchange list can change, so what is available today might not match the final shop.

What to watch on the calendar

A few dates matter more than others here. Small Odyle Energy, Unknown Fissure Challenge Tickets, and Nightmare Dungeon Challenge Tickets all get removed from the game on December 16, 2026. Separately, anything earned from the Season 1 Daeva Pass, the Shop Coin itself, and the Pass Shop are only usable until the maintenance on December 15, 2026 (PST). After that, unclaimed rewards and leftover coins are gone, so do not sit on them.

Each pass item can only be bought once per character, and whatever you earn or purchase stays locked to that character, it does not transfer. The developer also says this same pass, or something close to it, could return later in a similar form, so missing this run is not necessarily permanent.

What this means for players

There is nothing here that touches community mods or local game files, this is a server-side pass and shop system tied to your account and characters. The practical thing to do is log in before December 1-2 if you want to keep progressing the pass, and before December 15 if you still have Shop Coin or pass rewards sitting unclaimed. If you are mid-way through gear enhancement or extraction grinding, remember those actions also feed your weekly Pass EXP cap, so it is worth timing your sessions around that 15,000 weekly limit instead of burning it all in one day.

Based on the developer's announcement on Steam, 29 October 2026.
