Probably Stolen Patch 1.0.0.5 Adds Bell Hotkey and Fixes Loot Crate Bug

Probably Stolen – Cyberpunk Shopkeeper Sim got a new patch on October 30, 2026. Version 1.0.0.5 rolls up a batch of fixes and a handful of quality of life changes the developer had been working on since launch, covering everything from the counter bell to crate loot and localization.
The biggest addition is a dedicated hotkey for the counter bell. “Call next customer (Bell)” is bound to B by default and can be rebound like any other key. Hold it down and it dismisses the current customer, exactly like holding down the physical bell did before.
Settings and performance changes
The frame rate cap now turns on by default and follows your monitor’s refresh rate instead of locking everyone to 60 FPS. That cap used to be a software limiter, which was causing stutter and screen tearing, especially on high refresh rate monitors and in fullscreen. It’s now handled through VSync instead, switched on once for all players, and you can still turn it off in Options if you’d rather run uncapped.
If you’re on an ultrawide or any non-16:9 monitor, the resolution dropdown now correctly shows your native resolution while a fullscreen mode is picked, and borderless fullscreen is supported for those aspect ratios too. Auto-rotate while sorting items is now off by default for anyone starting fresh.
Fixes that touch your save
The patch closes a bug where opened loot crates got restocked with new random items every time you reloaded a save after your luck stat went up. Crate contents are now locked in once revealed, so what you got is what you keep. There’s also a fix for the Smuggler Bay Mod item from the Underground Exchange getting deleted if left in the trash can overnight, and a fix for the Current Converter nightly service unlocking itself just because a sealed Current Converter was sitting in a locked supply crate.
A few other things got cleaned up: stores with cut power no longer relight after an afterhours trip, the Merchant now shows up every Sunday once you own the store, and the evaporator no longer leaves stray water behind in alcohol batches that then get rejected by the Chem Finisher. Scanners also round liquid readings down now, so a container never appears to hold more than it actually does.
What this means for you
If you’d gotten used to clicking the bell manually, try the new hotkey, it does the same job faster. Players on wide or ultrawide monitors should check their display settings since fullscreen and borderless options changed. If VSync being forced on causes any input lag for you, head into Options and switch it back off. As with any patch, it’s a good habit to back up your save folder before loading an older run, just in case the loot crate or trash can fixes interact oddly with items you already had in play.
