Contact
modsdrop.com is run by Máté Geszti (CrashMozi), a private individual in Hungary, not a company. Postal address: XVII. utca 4., 5400 Mezőtúr. Email: [email protected]. Messages are read in English and in Hungarian.
Send a message
Use the form below, or write to [email protected]. Both reach the same person. There is no account and nothing to sign up for. An email address is required on this form, because there is no other way to answer you.
If your message is about one file, paste the address of that file’s page into the message. Without it the operator often cannot tell which file you mean.
What happens to your message
- The site stores the reason you chose, your message (up to 4,000 characters), your email address and the IP address you sent it from.
- It is saved as a private entry in the site’s WordPress database, which only the logged-in operator can open, and it is sent to his inbox through Brevo (Sendinblue), an email provider in the EU.
- Nothing deletes these entries on a timer. They stay until the operator deletes them.
- One person reads them, and the same person runs the site. There is no support team, no ticket system, and no guaranteed answer time.
- You can ask what is stored about you, or ask for it to be deleted, by writing to [email protected]. The Privacy Policy describes the data this site handles.
Copyright and complaints about content
Notices about copyright, and complaints about a file hosted here, go through the Copyright and content complaints page. A complaint about a single file can also be sent from the report link on that file’s page; there the email address is optional, but without one you cannot be told what happened. The operator is in Hungary and has not registered a designated agent with the US Copyright Office, so notices should be sent to the addresses given on this site.
Authorities
This page, together with the form above and [email protected], is the single electronic point of contact under Articles 11 and 12 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (the Digital Services Act): Article 11 for authorities of the Member States, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services, and Article 12 for users of the service. Communications can be in English or Hungarian. Orders and requests should state their legal basis and the exact addresses of the pages concerned.
What this form is not for
- Help with a mod itself. Questions about how a mod works, or about a crash in the game, are best put to the person who made the mod.
- Asking to upload your own mod. Uploading is not open to the public yet. See the Terms of Service.
